Bill Draving COMPARISON TO OTHER MODELS DIRECT DATA INPUT - KAL_II will read mainframe data. We market a support product that will virtually eliminate all keypunching from the valuation process. OUTPUT/INPUT DATA FORMATS - KAL_II sends ALL outputs to spreadsheet type files. This includes the valuation results, the cash flows, the financial statements, and all input assumptions. Our support products will directly translate all outputs in into any popular spread sheet OR database format (DBase, RBase, etc.) SENSITIVITY and STRESS TESTING - KAL_II provides sensitivity analysis for more assumptions than any other model on the market. We guarantee this!! STRATEGIC ANALYSIS - KAL_II will combine any new valuation into your current portfolio. Additional portfolios can be added every month for the next five years. You can create realistic cash flow and earning statements based on forecasted monthly volumes. COMPRESSED FILES The program has been compressed to fit on one 1.44k diskette. There must be a drive C: with at least 4 meg of free space.   Create a directory named "KAL". Move the K2MODEL.EXE file into the KAL directory and execute it. It will unpack itself and creatre all the necessary files. PROCESSING FEATURES Batch Processing System - You can run the Model in the evening when you leave work. All results are saved to a spreadsheet file and can be examined in the morning.   Script Files - These are used to run automated simulations   Interest and Inflation rates can be entered once or for every month for the next thirty years. FHA Tables - You can enter your own FHA tables without updating your version of the model. SPECIAL ADDITIONAL FEATURES 1. COMPONENT VALUATION - This section of the Model shows how the price is made up of each revenue or cost component.   2. DATABASE GRAPHICS - The model receives inputs and creates outputs from any of the currently available database systems.   3. PROGRAMMER'S INTERFACE - You can create your own input screens and output reports. All inputs and outputs are available to you. The model can be altered to your specific needs.   4. MAINFRAME LINKAGE - The model receive data files directly from your mainframe system. This eliminates all data entry work. Your entire portfolio can be evaluated on a monthly basis. You can stratify the portfolio in any way that you can imagine. RUNNING THE DEMO Create a directory named "KAL". Move the K2MODEL.EXE file into the KAL directory and execute it. It will unpack itself and create all the necessary files. Type "k". A menu should come up. To run the model: 1. Type "k z" 2. Type KAL_II Pressing any key will start the program. The program is menu driven. Use your cursor to select the next menu or enter the first letter of the menu item. The spreadsheet output files are available in the REPORTS section.
